Online Webinar: „Crossed views on Sex and Gender-Based Violence“

On the occasion of the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women RESET (Redesigning Equality and Scientific Excellence Together) organises the online webinar “Crossed views on Sex and Gender-Based Violence”.
This first RESET webinar aims at sharing ideas in a multidisciplinary and international perspective on the topic of Sex and Gender-Based Violence while highlighting the work of young researchers.
During the 1st session, from 14:30 to 15:50, PhD candidates from University of Bordeaux (France) and University of Porto (Portugal) will present their work and research findings on the topic of Sex and Gender-Based Violence.
In the 2nd session of the webinar, from 15:50 to 17:00, key speakers from the EU-H2020 project UNISAFE, the Ruhr-University of Bochum (RUB) and the University of the Basque Country (UPV/EHU) will discuss policies and protocols against Sex and Gender-Based Violence.
Speakers
Alexia Boucherie is a doctoral student in sociology at University of Bordeaux (France), author of the thesis “Understanding the grey areas of contemporary sexuality: disenchantment of sexual experience and normative relationships to consent among young adults”.
Tiago Rocha Silva is a doctoral student at the Faculty of Psychology and Education Sciences of the University of Porto (Portugal). He is the author of the thesis “Intimate Abuse Through Technology: A Systematic Review of Scientific Constructs and Behavioral Dimensions”.
Professor Anne Laure Humbert (for UniSAFE) is a Professor and Director of the Centre for Diversity Policy Research and Practice at Oxford Brookes University. She contributes as an expert in statistics, organisation and work, and gender-based violence.
Enara Agirre Arrizabalaga is the Gender Equality technician of the UPV/EHU, Master in Gender Equality of the UPV/EHU and Master in gender based violence of the International University of Valencia.
Laura Chlebos is a sociologist and works as a research assistant at the Marie Jahoda Center for International Gender Studies at the Ruhr University Bochum. There she coordinates Our Campus – a campaign against sex and gender-based discrimination and violence.
